A New Way To Get Garden Eats Services

As the first official day of the season approaches, Spring is in the air throughout many parts of the country! Here in SoCal and much of the southwest, wild flowers are exploding while citrus and fruit tree blossoms are getting ready to bear fruit. Our east coast friends are waiting for winter to end any day now so they can get outside to start clearing the way for their warm weather gardens.

As the new season approaches, we decided to switch things up and offer a new take on how we offer our services. So many people have inquired about doing “mix and match” services that we think this is the best way to give you guys what you really need. Some of you might need just a little bit of guidance in one area while wanting to get your hands on every last detail of another. This is usually the case when it comes to organic garden planning. Some folks are up on their soil and composting know-how, but are in the dark when it comes to crop rotation for example.

Another fun and super useful way to combine services is garden and food therapy. Some of our past clients have said how much they learned about planting, but had too many leftovers of one vegetable and not enough of another as the seasons changed. This made crop rotation difficult, but also fulfilling certain food therapy “prescriptions.” If you’re working with us on a food therapy plan and aim to grow your own food, this is a great opportunity to combine services.

So H E R E’ S  H O W  I T  W O R K S now…

Visit our services page to see what you need. We’ve found that most people wish to combine 2-4 services. The kitchen boot camp, food therapy plan and organic garden planning is a popular trio for example. Send us a one to three paragraph summary of:

  • what you think you need
  • what your goals are for growing and health (bullet points work)
  • who in your family will be involved (families like to jump in together)
  • and, any special details that would help us get to know you

In case you’re new here, we strive to make all of our services as personal as possible. This really is the best way for us to deliver exactly what your family needs. And, even if you’re in Europe or Australia or wherever you are, we can do just about everything over video conference. New technology has made it possible to consult with people everywhere- so cool!

With a growing awareness of procuring foods that come from non-GMO sources, we are now making a phone consult available to guide folks through this. Even people with the greenest thumbs or nutrition backgrounds are still learning about how to reliably source and grow these foods. This service is available on its own or can easily be combined with others.

Tis The Season To Start An Edible Organic Garden

Growing from organic seed is more popular than ever before. If you’re interested in growing from seed there’s still time to map this out before the warmer weather settles in. This month, our suggested feature is to combine one, two or all of the following services:

  • Edible organic garden planning
  • Personal food therapy consultations
  • Organic seed & non-GMO know-how
  • Kitchen boot camp

Some families and businesses are interested in planning large scale projects that involve more than four of our services. For those fun projects we’re happy to arrange a project based rather than hourly fee.

We’re excited to work with you! Happy Spring!
