Would You Like Orange Sherbet Or Fish Oil?
Today’s oh so tasty smoothie recipe comes to you via accidental happenings! As usual my everything-but-the-kitchen-sink style smoothies contains no less than any other day. Today I threw in berries, a combination of reds and greens, essential fatty acids, a couple different milks and a little protein powder. The accident? Orange flavored fish oil! Generally I mix my liquid fish oil in with a salad dressing or take it right off the spoon, but decided to swirl this into my mixture as well. The result- orange sherbet!
Try this one- it will remind you of being a kid and you’ll get over 1000 mg of omega three just from fish*, a plethora of antioxidants and essential co-factors for muscle maintenance and overall vitality!.. I’m willing to bet your tots will drink it right up too!
What You’ll Need:
8 ounces vanilla or plain almond milk
4 ounces plain hemp milk
1 tablespoon hemp oil
1 scoop protein (I used Amazing Meal by Amazing Grass today; I like to switch it up)
1 teaspoon organic vanilla extract (optional)
1 tablespoon orange essence fish oil
1 cup blueberries
1/2 scoop greens
1 packet Trace Minerals Reds
Putting It All Together:
1. Add all ingredients in order listed above
2. Use chop setting, then smoothie setting, then blend setting or your Vitamix
3. Enjoy your (blue-colored) orange sherbet!
